About Happy Punch Boxing
Why did we name it “Happy Punch Boxing?”
At Happy Punch Boxing, we wanted to create a workout environment that is welcoming and fun, where anyone can come to enjoy exercise. Our goal is to lower the barriers to entry for boxing, so instead of opting for a strong or aggressive name, we chose something positive and uplifting.
That said, our light-hearted name doesn’t mean we compromise on professionalism. We offer expert training in sparring, amateur boxing, and preparation for professional competitions. Moving away from the old-school “just do it” mentality, we embrace a modern, science-based boxing approach. By breaking down the principles and theories behind each movement, we ensure our trainees can easily commit them to muscle memory, helping them perform with precision and maximize their potential.

Meet the Founder Chris Seo

I founded Happy Punch Boxing to create a space where anyone can come and enjoy exercising. My goal is to provide a happy, welcoming environment not only for those training for sparring, amateur, or professional competitions but also for beginners just starting their fitness journey.
This isn’t just a place for physical exercise — we offer various programs that integrate mental health and fitness. For example, we invite trauma counseling specialists to lead sessions that help people understand how to maintain both mental and physical well-being through exercise before reaching the stage of PTSD. Additionally, we bring in traditional medicine doctors to help members focus on sustaining their mental and physical health.
My ultimate hope is for everyone who visits Happy Punch Boxing to become not only physically fit but also mentally healthy. This vision is what inspired me to establish Happy Punch Boxing.
